You will be taught by experienced teachers, you will shape your own study path and you will learn what life as a professional musician requires.

Codarts Jazz is more than just regular classes: there is ample room to experiment. There are plenty of opportunities for cross-overs into pop, world music, classical music, musical theatre, dance, circus and education. It’s particularly interesting for students who want to experience and combine various forms of art.

The North Sea Jazz Festival, InJazz and the Festival Jazz International offer the Rotterdam jazz scene plenty of inspiration. To gain stage experience, there are daily jam sessions at Dizzy, BIRD or Stadsbrasserie de Doelen. Or simply on our own stage at the WMDC.
