Admission Requirements Trombone

  • Talent for and affinity with jazz and/or Latin
  • Prepare three jazz/Latin jazz standards and 1 etude
  • Sight-read a simple theme or big band part
  • Improvise on a played or notated chord sequence
  • Major and minor scales
  • Perform one etude: choose from G. Senon, E. Vobaron, F. Steiner, M. Nightingale, J. Snidero – or material of an equivalent grade
