Wanderlust Festival

Enjoy a unique mix of cultures and musical styles on Thursday 20th of April, during the festival Wanderlust. A perfect reflection of the Codarts World Music department in the HBS building on the ‘s-Gravendijkwal 58, Rotterdam.

EXPLORING MUSICAL ROOTS

Codarts World Music students will play rich sounds and surprising arrangements in 25 ensembles. After the success of last edition,  the students will overwhelm the visitors with versatile music on a high level. A mix of Latin, Flamenco and Classical Turkish Music will be presented on no less than four stages. Be welcome and be surprised!

ONE FESTIVAL, FOUR STAGES

Each stage follows a bit of the same tension curve from quieter to a bit more bombastic.

#1 New Grounds

Large ensembles from Tango to Turkish Music and from to Salsa and Dance!

#2 Big Studio

Flamenco, storytelling and Latin Dance <usic.

#3 Doelen Ensemble Studio

Acoustic, more intimate and smaller ensembles.

#4 HBS Café

An open stage vibe. Smaller ensembles and more acoustic, but the last ensemble is also quite bombastic!

Wanderlust is organised in cooperation with New Grounds.

Codarts students are free of charge with a student card.
