As part of our great relationship with the International Film Festival Rotterdam, during this academic year 2024-2025, different Codarts ensembles will be performing live within the IFFR program a selection of 7 different short films curated by the festival. Our Master’s Screening students, coached by Han Otten, will write the original music for these short films which will be performed live with the projection at such a great location as it is Lantarenvenster and within one of the most renown Film Festivals in Europe as it is the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2025, a unique opportunity for both, audience and Codarts students. Rehearsals and performances will be led by the Codarts Conducting students, who will also follow a Film-music conducting workshop in the previous months to the project, as preparation to this fantastic opportunity.
