During the multi-day festival, which is dedicated to the promotion and discovery of new European and Dutch music, a number of Codarts students and alumni were given the stage to show that they are the next best thing when it comes to promising music artists. All this in front of some 40,000 music lovers and more than 4,000 music industry professionals, including 400 international festivals.

Performers at the festival included the duo Lumï (Pop student), Charlotte and Djoeke (both pop alumna).

On the special Codarts stage, which was made possible by Pinguin Radio, the audience was treated to performances by Imme, Alexine and Unfinished. Promising artists who are currently studying at the Codarts Pop Department and for whom this was a great opportunity to show what they have to offer.

The performances by Min Taka (Jazz alumna) and Philine (former Pop student) were included by VPRO in a top 25 best performances of this year.
