Entry requirements
Entry requirements for Bachelor’s programmes
Requirements for students educated in the Netherlands
If you are in possession of a Dutch diploma level NLQF4 (EQF4), and have attained this qualification in the Netherlands, and it is registered through DUO, you do not have to submit your diploma.
If your qualification is not registered through DUO, you must send a certified copy to Codarts by August 15.
Requirements for students educated outside the Netherlands
Codarts will assess whether your foreign qualification is at least equivalent to a Dutch diploma (NLQF4 / EQF4) that would grant the holder admission to Codarts. You must send a certified copy of your qualification to Codarts, and in addition Codarts may request that you send an official translation of this document.
If you are not in possession of the qualification required to enter the Bachelor’s programme or for the programme in which you intend to enrol, you must contact the Administrative Service Center (ASC) at Codarts as soon as possible. In order for us to assess whether you meet the admission requirements, you are required to take an aptitude test. The fee for this test is €75, which you must pay prior to taking the test. You will only be considered to meet the admission requirements if you passed the test. Your satisfactory test score must have been received by Codarts by August 15, before you commence your studies.
Entry requirements for Master’s programmes
To enrol in a master programme at Codarts, you must be at least in possession of a bachelor’s degree (NLQF6 / EQF6) in a relevant field issued by a state recognised Dutch institution, or an equivalent foreign qualification (EQF6).
If your Bachelor’s degree is not registered in DUO or if you earned your qualification outside the Netherlands, you must send us a certified copy by August 15. Codarts may ask you for an official translation.
If you do not meet the admission requirements for our Master’s programmes, please contact the ASC (asc@codarts.nl) to ask about the options available.
