Mark Vondenhoff is new Head of Classical Music at the Rotterdam Conservatoire

Rotterdam, October 24, 2023 – The Rotterdam Conservatoire at Codarts University of the Arts is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Vondenhoff as the new head of Classical Music. He will assume his position on January 1, 2024.

Mark Vondenhoff is new Head of Classical Music at the Rotterdam Conservatoire

Mark brings with him a wealth of experience, gained over the past nine years as the head of the Classical, Conducting, and Composition & Music Production departments at the Prins Claus Conservatoire (PCC) – a part of Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.

During his tenure at PCC, Mark led more than 80 teachers, emphasising strong collaboration among colleagues and coaching his team to maximise their potential. Mark is dedicated to providing students with the necessary skills to adapt to new opportunities that may arise in the future. He is determined to bring fresh energy and diverse perspectives to his role as the new head of Classical Music.

The Rotterdam Conservatoire is pleased to welcome Mark as the new head. With his enthusiasm and dedication, we believe he will significantly contribute to the further development of the curriculum, our students, and the team of professionals working with the students.
